Scribbl ("Scribbl," "we," "us," or "our") is a handwriting note-taking application for iPad. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, what leaves your device, and what your choices are.
The short version: Scribbl has no user accounts and no servers. Your notes stay on your iPad. We, the developer, never receive your notes or any personal information about you. The only data that leaves your device is described in Section 3, and it goes to Google and Apple, not to us.
We collect no personal information.
Scribbl does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide a name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or payment details. There is no registration, no login, and no user profile.
Scribbl operates no servers and no backend. There is no database anywhere that holds your notes or information about you. We have no ability to access, read, view, or recover your notes.
We do not use any advertising network, attribution service, crash reporting service, or analytics service of our own. Scribbl does not track you across apps or websites, and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
Everything you create in Scribbl is stored locally on your iPad, in the app's private storage area. This includes:
This information never leaves your iPad unless you choose to export or share it, or unless you turn on iCloud backup (Section 4).
Because this data lives in the app's private storage, deleting Scribbl from your iPad permanently deletes all of it. See Section 7.
This is the only part of Scribbl that sends any data off your device, and we want to be precise about it.
